An introduction to the New Met Engage Community - Inspector McCarthy

Dear Met Engage Community Member.  

Thank you for taking the time to join the new Met Engage community platform where we as your local policing team can share news with you on local policing matters, crime prevention and most importantly listen to and identify what policing issues effect you most.   

I am your Safer Neighbourhoods Inspector.  A police officer for 25 Years a Hillingdon Borough Officer for the past 2.5 years and your Inspector Since March this year.     I am pleased to be in a role where I can do my best to address crimes that are affecting our communities.   

In the coming weeks you will receive alerts and messages from my teams relating to crime prevention and updating you policing activity within your local wards.   

In order for us as a team to be able to focus on the matters that are most impacting you and your local community please take a little time to participate in the local survey that is accessible under the Get Involved section of this message.  Partaking in this short survey can assist your local team in understanding what matters most to you.   

Neighbourhood Watch.  

We are lucky in Hillingdon to have a very dedicated team of Neighbourhood Watch Volunteers many of our members will have joined this platform through the neighbourhood watch platform and it through the tireless work of our volunteers that our community has grown so well.   

If you have not joined through our Neighbourhood watch platform then please take the time to visit your settings and tick the option for Neighbourhood Watch information.  This will give you access to additional information from members of the NHW Scheme and help feed into our community of crime fighters.
